Children's Injury
Normally, adults have 3 years from the date of the accident
in which to bring a claim for compensation. This is known as the limitation
period.
However, the rules relating to children's injury claims
are different. If a person is under the age of eighteen when the accident
occurred, the three year limitation period does not start until the child's
eighteenth birthday. Therefore, Court proceedings for childrens injury
claims can be started at any time before the child's twenty first birthday.
To ensure that you have the best chance
of success, we would urge you to do this as soon as possible after the
accident.
We'll get you the compensation you
deserve and it won't cost you a penny.
